A Warrant Has Been Issued For My Arrest

Had the same call last week citing 'Warrant for my arrest / tax fraud' BS - Like you Soho, elected to ignore it and put it down as scammers trying it on.

In my past life, as a wage slave, the employer embraced the modern day trend to abandon selection of employees on any notion of academic achievement, preferring instead to start off the process with answers written by god knows who to questions around "competencies". So, if you had phoned MaccyD's to book a birthday party table you were on your way to middle management. Which brings me to the reason for this ramble. A good proportion of successful candidates could only manage spelling and grammar to a standard well short of that possessed by your average boiler room trainee. And before the snowflakes pile in, I'm talking about people of various ages, religions, and all backgrounds and ethnicities. All sorts. Some of the letters they sent out were embarrassing and it's one of life's mysteries that the recipients didn't all think they were scams and bin them.

I find that if you ask a question they can often lose their train of thought.

My favourite is "What are you wearing?"

I like to get chatty with them, saying what an important job they are doing helping innocent people like me. Then ask if their family are proud of them stealing money for a living, no better than mugging old ladies in the street. For some reason they often become quite abusive at this point.

Same message again just now.
Different number - 0208 number this time - presumably because I had blocked the previous number.
