This is also a reminder what state the club was in at the time (crisis!), and where it was headed (down!). Lest we forget how times have changed even though this season certainly could have started a bit better!!

Rather befittingly, Peter Taylor is now in the sixth tier National League South!!

I remember exactly where I was when it was announced. It was the beginning of a near 15 year period of our history that had some awful memories and moments, some like the relegation to Div 1 unique to us.
Some of his signings were completely mad. £3m for Matt Jones and £2m for a hasbeen, couldn’t give a shit about us, poisoned dwarf.
Lily was player of the season that year. Sums it up.
