Rotherham mid 2000s when we lost 1_0 and was possibly the worst City game I have ever seen.

I have a vague recollection of a Boxing Day game in the sixties played in the snow at Filbert St. It was against Fulham, we won 5 nil and the Doog scored at least once.
It would be nice to win 5 nil today.
But how many times have we gone into Boxing Day having won 90% of our league fixtures?
One of those games was Mrs wints first match. Lost 0-1Bournemouth at home 3 years running
I went to that Smith and Lineker scoredBoxing day 84/85 at Anfield.
Dinner time k.o
Liverpool 1 Leicester 2.
Up at 3 in the morning to help our driver do his milk round.
Leicester 2-0 up, Liverpool with a 2nd half penalty and then about 30 minutes of the Alamo with the reds attacking the old Kop end.
Ian Andrews with a few World class saves to keep out a very good Liverpool team at that time.
Brilliant feeling coming home.
Worst, as already mentioned.
Leicester 0 Bournemouth 1. ( when the cherries really were 3rd/4th division material.
Only been to two Boxing Day games at home and two away.Derby mid 70s when we won 2_1

Remarkable game that was. I actually thought it was Boxing Day but evidently not. Basketball game it felt like. Remember Lineker being on the pitch pre game with whoever was the host in them days (was it Birchenall or that too early for him?)Not strictly boxing day as it was on the 27th for some reason but best was v Watford 4-4 in 1993.
I'm not sure why, but i seem to remember being in what was usually the away section on the far left of the pop side near the kop (unless that was another watford game).
