Would You Take A Draw?

This Sunday.
I think I would.
Regardless of their injuries it wouldn't be a bad point at all. In the general scheme of things.

Really want the win, because of the 63 home game unbeaten record.

It's time to end the grip of the so called big clubs and cement our place in history.

Nope. They're there for the taking. 5 League away wins on the bounce here we come. Mystic kp says 3-1. Then listen to Klopp cavil, complain, carp, criticise, cry, curse, chide, castigate, condemn and censure ad nauseam. Fuck him!

Think we will do well to get a draw, too much optimism on are part and they will be playing for Clemence
I don't mean this to sound horrible but I don't think they will be playing for Clemence, most of their side have probably never heard of him, add the no fans being there and their injuries/missing players and I'd be disappointed with a draw, it's small club mentality.

We go there top of the league lets get at them and come away with all three.

Bang on.

I posted on an earlier thread what we could look fwd to in the shape of excuses from the opposition (pretty much what kp has condensed above, in fact) but we have to be able to take such slights on our way to becoming an established ECL club.

As long as the manager plays his part with positivity by actually talking up the Club which pays him, rather than sending msgs to the players that he expects to be rinsed by those with much larger resources (do these people really have significantly larger resources anyway?) we will be much of the way there.

BLUE ARMY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We beat Man C and the Arse away. Why not Liverpool as well? The caveat is that Klopp, IMO, is a bit cannier tactically than Guardiola and Captain Black. He will also know how important this game is and will really have them fired up. Also, they still have players that can hurt you, of course. However, all their back four is missing and I would say their makeshift defence is weaker than ours. With belief, the right attitude and tactics, and Vardy, Tielemans etc. doing what we know they can do, we can definitely win. So, at the moment, I would be disappointed with a draw as I don't think we'll get a better chance to beat them.

Tielemans going into the game in fine form as well. đź‘Ť

This game is the reality check. We will not get a better chance to turn them over. Thinking a draw is a good result is defeatist. Villa put seven past their full strength team. We have to want it more than they did, the reverse of the fixture last Christmas. It seems ages since we won there, not like when we used to go there with MON and turn them over regularly. We know they can do it, but does Rodgers ?

Well I still would take a draw.
We are due a draw - not had one this season so far.
Not being defeatist. I still think a draw at Anfield is always a very decent achievement.

That's the point Soho. We are top of the League and are playing a much depleted opponent. We play what is in front of us, not history and all that "This is Anfield" bull. Unfortunately one bit of history that does matter is our bottling it last time we played them.

As long as Buck doesn't go Into the game with the same tactics as last Boxing Day. I think we'll be ok.

He's fine. Got himself a blond rinse too. Put a few Euros on him to open his City account :)

1. We're unlikely to get any slightly questionable penalties.
2. Liverpool probably will.
3. At some point the fact that we create the lowest scoring chances in the Premier League hitherto this season is going to bite us on the bum.

So, a well-fought 1-2 loss

Absolutely BBB.
If Man City get something at Spuds tomorrow then a draw on Sunday keeps us top, doesn't it?

Draw keeps them below us

After less than a quarter of the season gone you're sounding more nervous than the last 9 games of 2016.

Following last years horror show, I so want to be able to throw back at my brother in law 'I thought you'd put up more of a fight than that'.
He's the second generation of Rugby born Scouse fans. .
