I have a lot of sympathy with the builder and "Just Stop Oil" are a pain in the ass.

But are we against peaceful protest? Is it OK to physically assault someone in the street, in front of coppers?

What if the protestors were stopping traffic, to bring attention to Covid vaccines?

Whataboutary.
Point I’m making is the Police are all for peaceful protest when it suits.
So obviously from your reply you haven’t got a problem with the Police arresting folk even before they peacefully protest if it’s to protect your jug eared king and his horse faced wife (did you see what I did there?)
