Worse performance since Rodgers.

Dean Smith knew that Dewsbury-Hall is rubbish, he binned him for Soumare. Actually dropped because Soumare, as awful as he is, was still the better option.

Dewsbury-Fraud can’t even pass to a teammate 5 yards away from a set piece, with the opposition 10 yards away. If Vestegaard had done that the place would have erupted.

He’s unfortunately starting to believe his own hype, created by people who don’t watch him.

Its been enjoyable watching us winning without playing well, but that needs to be the bonus of being a good team that usually plays well and still manages to find a way when it's not really happening. All the top teams seam to have that in their lockers.
So far we haven't seen a ' promotion ' type of performance. There is such a transition of the starting eleven that it's not surprising that they don't yet look like a team that's going to tear up the league.
It's very early days but my concern would be that there maybe teams like Ipswich who have had longer together, are more settled and able to cope better when they face a setback.
I feel that it could take until the second half of the season before we start looking a more capable side

It's one game. All the usual negative posters couldn't wait for this moment.
No mucker. We roofers are generally cynics. But many of us have said since day one that we‘ve been mostly fortunate, often shite. I seem to remember you being one of the “get behind Brendan”, faction, clinging on to your Fox Leisure Filbert till the very last minute. Footballs quite simple really, never mind your false nines, number tens and inverted full backs. If you want your team to play a technically demanding way, you need a team choc full of technically gifted players. Poundshop Pep wont cut it.

Ahh, the Fox Leisure insult. You're obviously a much better fan than me. I suppose if you're always negative and expect the worst you're never disappointed.

Hull were as shit as every other side we faced.

He needs to bin off KDH and Ndidi pronto, there will be 15 year olds with better technical ability than those 2.
Swapping a couple of players here & there won’t change much at all.
The tempo is a huge issue at the moment. It’s mind numbingly slow. We all know the plan, draw the opposition onto us, thus taking two /3 players out the game with a ball onto midfield, but it’s just not happening.
Yes now & again there’s a player up the backside of pereira or winks when hermansen or vestergaard give it to them, but plenty of times there’s no one near them & they still just pass it straight back to where it came from. It’s totally pointless & doesn’t cause the opponents any problems at all.
At present it’s pointing towards another coach with no plan b.

Of course it will. If we had players who could actually play forward and to teammates in the roles beside Winks it’d make a massive difference.

But we’re left with the busted defensive midfielder that was Ndidi and who knows what KDH is meant to be, but it ain’t a second tier footballer.

Absolutely nailed it

Leave him alone! Some people have joyless lives, and couldn't wait for today to happen so he could have a good moan at people who simply know what they're seeing.

The question is how patient will everyone be if we start slipping down the table ?
The importance of going straight back up can't be underestimated. The longer we are in the Championship the more we become a Championship club.

In that case shouldnt we of appointed a coach/Manager with more experience and a proven record for getting promoted? Big Sam is past it now.

Eh? Ndidi & Kdh ( yes I agree are poor, piss poor in kdh’s case) are up the pitch. It’s pereira & winks who are not turning & moving forward 80% of the time & just knocking it back to where it came from, Which is clearly a tactic because both of them are more than capable of turning & moving forward.

Really pissed off today, so bloody frustrating, and to be honest every game has been the same, but when you win right at the death, all the frustration goes away, but not today. We need to start how we played in the last 20 minutes. 🤬

Tell you what though Tartan, me ode. That Maddison lad is tearing it up at Spuds!

There was a moment today when Faes could have just given it to the keeper but nearly got caught out, he passes to the Vest who then passed to the keeper . Same outcome but ridiculously risky and for what exactly as we still give it back to the keeper

It’s predictable and boring and we need to step it up and move quickly between defence, midfield and attack .
