I just wonder why they persist with that awful butchering of a bouncy happy original. Hasn't someone told them?
It's sort of like when Jackie Wilson made the charts over here and the beeb put up a picture of Jocky Wilson. Wrong guy in both cases.
 
Every generation needs to have something of their own, it's a way of asserting their independence.
When the public relations half-wit who chose that version eventually realises how embarrassing it is, they'll blame it on poor production or copyright payments.

I had to listen to the Turtles and Dueling Banjos just to calm down after listening to that crap.
 
It’s not great but it works. Other teams have an anthem when the teams come out that everyone sings to, it’s often played over the PA system. Keep it and back it even more.

Agree Bnet👍🏻 There was a big improvement in the atmosphere
I did post this yesterday FAO Semper So hope he picks it up

The scarfs up for WYS was good though not everyone got the message.
The standing and singing on the 66th min for the Boss was very good and lifted the atmosphere
How about Union FS putting it out there to do both of the above for the remaining 3 home games to get us over the line 💪

As I understand it, it was a terrace tune of old, that under club terms has now been adopted pre-game. No bad thing in my opinion, but the club have decided how it ends and then we get the drum beat and photo's up on the screen.

That's the club dictating (willfully or not) an element of the fan culture.

This is what some people still don't get The BLM movement and Support against Racism are two separate movements. Nothing to do with politics as there is still a lot of racism in football and in life. You are within your rights to boo because you don't agree but don't call the people who support this initiative brainless idiots. They have every right.
