Doesn't Vestergard's 2 match ban also include FA Cup games????
Sorry - just checked and the 2 match ban only applies to games in the competition in which the yellow cards were given.
So he's banned for 2 League games. But not for FA Cup games.

Really? Chance of possibly a home quarter final. Even if we lose on Saturday we will still be top. Give it a right go and go strong.
Hold on? Fatawu’s three match ban included the Brum FA cup game. He only missed 2 league games I think. On that basis Vester is banned for tomorrow’s FA Cup game. Or am I misunderstanding something?

Uninspiring cup draw for us and against a very decent team.
It's a no brainer given the circumstances, QPR on Saturday is a much more important and imo a must win game.
We need to start peddling again and keep a 6pt gap. Chances are with Leeds playing early it will be 3pts when we kick off.

Against a very decent team, who have won 2 out of there last 9 games, both of them being the previous 2 rounds of this competition.
They are in shit form, take advantage.

Except their shit Premier League form is still beyond our Championship level.
I watched them against Man City and on that evidence they look more than capable of dealing with us.
Personally I can't see why anyone wants us to be distracted by a competition that we ain't going to win, especially at such a critical time in our promotion campaign.
I have said it before that failure to get back immediately will be a disaster for the club and condemn us to a long period away from the Prem.
The cup really doesn't matter this season, but going up is vital for our future.

Obviously the game doesn’t attract the same interest as the league games, because we have sent some of our tickets back to Bournemouth for them to sell.

Yes really. In my opinion anyway.
Even a draw at Leeds and I’d be well up for us playing a strong side but we have to earn promotion and really at this stage of the season to not lift the trophy will hurt our morale moving into next season.

Bet Southampton don’t play a weak side at Liverpool. Maybe events will prove me wrong but this feels like a missed opportunity to me .. both to get into the QF of the cup and to regain a bit momentum..
