Agreed. After having to sell so many first teamers I feared the worst for this season.Its been a right roller coaster season but credit to Enzo, not agreed with everything he has done but when you think he has little experience and to get us back up is a great achievement
If only we hadn't had that massive wobble Enzo would already be in pantheon of revered managers. As it is some of us are still not quite sure.
So what made the difference this season? Vesty coming in from the cold and playing quite well? KDH? Has his knockers on this board but made the Championship team of the season. JV9? Still magic. Mavididi and Fatawu? Two real assets and credit to whoever spotted them.
Won't be easy next season but at least we are back where we belong and can put TCR behind us.
I wouldn't call Mavididi an asset for the next four years of his contract, unless we come back down and don't have anyone any better. He's had a few moments, but overall I really don't rate his contribution.
But I'll be forever grateful that we haven't gone down again.
