It's a world apart last seasons downtrodden lot, most of whom we beaten before they started matches and were relegated because of this by a man who had lost everything.
How the hell does a manager begin to sort out the mess he was left with, players who had been forgotten players who were desperate to move away, players mentally unfit to play (that's what it looked like).
It takes some kind of courage to take over
a team that's rock bottom and to find a plan to get the club on its feet again



Whilst doing this you lose influential players
But still find a credible answer but what an answer this is.


If we get to the Prem he has to start all over
again, finding talent to meet his requirements no easy task.

I thought at the time WHAT where are we going but it seems this lad lives and breathes football how else can you explain that a simple plan to exploit a ragtag bunch into believing a system can work if you come together as a team it's incredible that we have given a liquorice allsort team the guidence to believe a collective force can
give confidence to individuals

Enzo seems to give an honest straightforward answer to questions without the soundbites and condescending crap. He is also willing to explain what he is doing and how which is very refreshing. I suspect he will manage Man City one day.
 
Some good thoughts here.

Direct, straight communication, and a very low bulls**t count, would surely help to win the first team squad over. It's certainly appreciated by us fans.

But having a clear and comprehensible plan on how to play, around which the squad could regroup, was/is also crucial. And he backed it up with some key personnel decisions. Sorry Luke and Victor, the system doesn't include orthodox overlapping full backs; and we know we've already got 4 keepers, but we need a new one with different skills.

Very, very impressed so far. We'll done Top and Rudkin for getting a crucial appointment right
