We have a keeper

I said on here the other day, if he was our keeper last year, we would not have gone down. now we need to hold on to him long term

We know that, but his positioning further up the pitch and passing will provide more goals than his mistakes make.

But in that sense better players will improve on his overall awareness of English football

Yes they will. I'm sure he'll be the only player to cost us a goal with a mistake.
 
I understand the way Enzo wants the keeper to play but I hate that straight ball that’s fired at the midfielder when it’s really a 50/50 chance of not losing the ball or misplacing a pass.

Either that, or merely resisting getting carried away at riding our luck in beating some poor sides.
This reminds me of the love-in over Faes when he first joined – there's reasons why Hermandsen joined us for £5-8m, one being that he's not (yet) the messiah.

Well Vardy was around a £1 million, and he turned out ok?
 
So if we had spent £20m on Mads, he would viewed differently? Perhaps the recruitment team did a great job in getting a good deal.
