We could be in trouble

If we’re not careful. Looks like Daka is off. So that leaves Jamie and Nacho. He’s on his last year of his contract. What if someone comes in at the last minute and panic buys him for £15-20m. Would we take it? Could we afford not too? Surely we’ve got someone in mind just in case. I’m confident, not, that Rudkin has this possible situation covered

There is no way we’d sell Nacho, even for £20m, if Daka had already departed and we didn’t have somebody else lined up. It would be the most stupid and self-destructive thing we’ve done in years (and it’s up against some pretty stiff competition for that particular title).

I couldn’t agree more but I’m concerned that even if he stays it leaves us with a near 37 year old and Nacho. One injury with so many games and we’re doomed. I’m
assuming we looked at Piroe who for a 20 goal/season striker was IMO a snip at £10m

LG….. your heading reads ‘We could be in trouble’
then you open with “looks like Daka is off”

My panic mode was immediately nullified

Having Daka on the pitch and representing Leicester City has been proven repeatedly to have been a catastrophic disadvantage.
Regardless of wether or not he is capable of scoring goals, he is more likely to cost his team a goal through the various means that he possesses ‘in his locker’.
If he’s moved on, that can’t happen, we should actually be paying the lucky recipients to take him away

I seriously don’t think he’s that sort of guy.
Some would argue that it'll be difficult to tell if he's downed tools or not.
But I think if his agent tells him that God wants him to leave, he'd do what he's told by him

Since not sacking Rogers 18 months ago. Wont we lose Nacho and Wilf to the Afcon in Jan-Feb
