eddie howe turned joelinton into a proper footballer.
Maresca appears to be doing the same with vesty.
 
Probably the best player on the pitch today.
The transformation is incredible even if we are at a lower level.
Don’t get me wrong. I still worry a bit when he’s on the ball, or looks like he may be caught in a foot race, but credit where it’s due.
Quite a rehabilitation.
How come it never happened under the expert man management skills of TCR.

Vestergaards ability was never in doubt, he was coached by a poor coach who fell out with him. Always been been able to make a decent pass out of defence, wasnt given a chance under TCR and slated on here.
 
He is playing in an average league with a team that dominates most sides that they play, he doesn’t have to do a lot and can swan around the pitch passing the ball 10 yards backwards and forwards, if Watford had anybody decent up front today we could have drawn that game, he took kdh off and suddenly we were wide open. Vesta is a fraud and a decent side with a proper attack will leave him in bits.

Horses for courses, he’s the right horse for the championship course. Utilise the nag for Ffos Las and maybe we’ll get us a thoroughbred for Cheltenham. His form suggests that there should perhaps be some doping checks. Although going from pikey John to Willie Mullins as your trainer has to help somewhat.
 
He's still slow as fuck, and late to react.

As said above, perfect for this league. Will get ran ragged next season assuming we carry on as we are.

We'll see - you're probably right but some of the football in the Premier League seems pretty dire apart from the top 7 or 8
 
Looks like he's lost quite a a few pounds too, maybe fit and happy is the way forward,not sure Mr Rodgers had the same philosophy
 
Most of us have slagged him off, me included. But fuck me, he's been colossal. Reminds me of watching Jason and the Argonauts with my grandad when that big fucker came out the sea.
 
So, would you offer him another contract if we get promoted? Bear in mind he was part of that saints team we destroyed 0-9 in Premier League.
