Soumare has been a massive disappointment. This is the risk of signing players from Europe. Some just don't have what it takes to step up to the plate and play at a higher level. You can see Ward having his contract cancelled by mutual agreement at some stage.

We'd have to pay him all his wages for the remainder of his contract for that to happen.

I’m not sure that’s how it works. He can immediately move on and get paid somewhere else albeit not what we’re paying him. I’d make him a good offer to go. We need him away from the club

I know that's not usually how it works. I'm saying that Ward will not move somewhere else if he has to take a wage cut unless we pay him every penny remaining on his contract.

I am assuming Kristiansen and Thomas are off the payroll on loan deals
I would still like to see Souttar, Soumare, Daka and 2 keepers leave

That would leave a squad of 23 players and room for players to come in.
The above is NOT going to happen by Friday and it may limit new players coming in.
 
might be confusing for commentators to have a mcatee and mcateer on the pitch at the same time.
