There's something about Enzo...

I was self harming for nearly two seasons with Rodgers. I've looked back over some old posts and in December 2021 told him and Bertrand to fuck right off after we lost to Napoli away.
I've also slagged off Vestagaard, Ndidi and Co on here something rotten.
Then Enzo arrives with a clean slate and an open mind.
OK it's the Championship and players get away more often with errors, but the guy does seem to know exactly what he wants. The players seem to be buying in and he acknowledges we'll trip up along the way. But all the signs are of continuous improvement and I never expected such a good start. We can only get better which will scare the crap out of the oppo going forward.
Thanks Enzo I'm slowly recovering.

I was extremely pleased that we’d taken a chance on someone who was a bit left field. Parker, Gerrard, Farke? No thanks. But it was obvious from the start that his system was very different and personally I’d have been extremely happy if we’d have been top 6 after 18-20 games. The fact we’re top now and it seems on paper that things can only get better is incredible. I posted the other day that to get players who looked like they played on Vicky park last season to not only take on a new role ( Wilf further forward, Vestergaard to become a er defender) is astonishing, never mind to suddenly look at a football with love and not like it’s a grenade.
I’m developing a little man crush on Enzo and I’m happy to admit it!!

On his RL interview he told us not to get carried away - it's so early in the season he can't find his way from the dressing room to the restaurant yet.
That today was magnificent- pull out the cliches, men against boys; like watching Brazil. Matt Elliott makes the point that we're not suddenly going to get worse under Enzo.
Some of that football is just stately. The close passing and the sudden diagonals - luvvin' it!!
