I’m the first to look at our own faults first & foremost & not look for excuses but that ref today was the worse this season by a country mile.
Can’t make a comment on the Vardy penalty shout in the 2nd half having not had a good view of it at the time but heard on the radio on the way back that enzo had gone beserk in the tunnel at him.
Plenty of fouls especially in the 1st half not given our way but every little touch on a hull player he blew up for.
He stopped the game for a none head injury to a hull player when we had the ball trying to start an attack, so he clearly doesn’t know the rules but his worse work was midway through the 2nd half, he awarded a foul to us in the middle of the park conceded by there no24. We then tried to take a quick free kick & the same player intentionally blocked it a yard or so away from where we tried to take it. The ref immediately went to his back pocket to pull his yellow card out, then saw that it was someone he’d already booked & gave him a talking to instead.
Shocking refereeing.
 
TBH most of them have been about what I feared. When the 'best' ones are often shit, there's not much hope in div2. And any that turn out to be ok will soon get 'promoted' to the PL anyway
 
We have had some excellent refs this season
Today's wasn't one of them
He made two big decisions and got both correct but was shit scared of making any more
 
I don’t like them even if they’re good, there’s something basically wrong with you if you’re a referee, it’s like being a screw, at least the old bill are openly corrupt 🤨👀
 
The conspiracy theorist in me thinks that the EFL told him to make sure we lost just to show us who’s boss.
Actually I think he was just totally incompetent.
