The new 2nd Half only ST to be introduced

LGFOX

Roofer
Very soon. You’ll pay just half price and the advantages are endless.
Firstly you’ll have an extra hour in the pub where you’ll easily get a drink, cob and a seat to be able to relax pre match. No fighting for 20 mins to get served.
Secondly you can rock up at the KP and just stroll in without any queuing.
Thirdly you’ll have a whole hour extra in your day to get on with the important things in your life like going down to B&Q to choose the paint for your front door.

The only disadvantage is that with each ST the club are insisting you’ll have to wake 10 fans up who’ll be having their afternoon nap as you go to to your seat . With some of our older fans this could be quite a job.

Anyone else thinking of getting one?

It's indicative of our first half performances when the stands start emptying with still 15mins to half-time.
Go for a piss in comfort, no queuing for beer or food (if you want to pay the prices) watch the 'action'? on the concourse screens. In general terms you'll miss sod all not being in your seat.
Quite frankly I thought the first 40mins were rank!

Surely rank is being outplayed and 0-3 down at halftime.
It wasn't great but we were in total control and it was just a matter of time until we scored, this was without KDF & Ndid so it was always going to take a bit for us to start playing at our best.

Rank is either side unable or unwilling to produce a watchable 45 mins.
It's not the first, and I strongly suspect won't be last, first half of mind numbing boredom.
Enzo's means justify the ends, but oh dear me...............

It seems to be all about moving the opposition around to tire them out, probing to work out their strangths and weaknesses and then hitting them in the second half. Some of the passing is sublime and intricate so I'm enjoying that, some isn't .......

But surely it takes us energy to 'move then about'?
What it is actually about is trying to open up the odd space to exploit.
And if it is done slowly all they do is canter about from side to side.
I reckon we (and they) were adjusting to four matches in a week and 'working to rule'.

Huddersfield fans said afer the match that the ref was on our side and it was 'like playing away at a posh school with their sports master reffing'...
They said we disposed of eighty million quids worth of players and replaced them with forty million quids worth as if that was some sort of advantage.

I nodded off and missed the first.

Maybe that’s the answer, seats wired up to 240v and if you’re spotted looking bored “the man” presses a button and you get an immediate buzz

I love the sports master ref comparison - not only is it funny, it's actually true. He was a bit of a homer. Not complaining.

A lot of our players don’t move anywhere near as much as the opposition, it’ll happen even more now with Doyle back who can ping precise balls to the other side of the pitch.

Be different now with Cannon firing on all cylinders because the midfield know they now have a striker who can do things like score goals😁
