The leaving early/ empty seat debate

Thorney

Roofer
I prefer to stay in my seat until the end and clap the team off(thats my choice) and whilst I dont agree with it ( thats my opinion) the same applies to those that choose to go early, you pay you money you do what you want !
We all support the same team !
As for the away fans and their views its all part of the game to taunt the home fans " football in a Library " " is there a fire drill" its banter.
We are going very well at the moment and long may it continue it may not be pleasing on the eye but it get results, well done Enzo for turning it round from last seasons crap under that Twat

The empty seats debate ( unoccupied) were there to see yesterday, a team top of the League, two days before Christmas and we didnt sell out!
Any business manager worth their salt would have glanced over to the section near the away end and demanded why we hadn't sold those tickets !
Our pre match drink touched on this, offer a free membership to everyone, then a paid membership, if ticket sales go down the line as normal and there are still some left, those with free membership can buy them! ( as they would if we offered a general sale) the club have details of the purchaser so its a win win!
Failing that give the tickets away to local kids football teams, the NHS, Armed forces or any other charity

Not selling out is far more of an issue than leaving early!!!

Merry Christmas to all on here and a Happy New promotion year ! 🙂

You shoulda left this post till next week at 23.59.59 to end the year on the board with a positive, sensible note.

Just watched the geezer on Leicester Fan TV totally losing it and justifying
why the thousands walk out
Most the Rotherham fans even though 3- 0 down stopped
Players don’t even walk round the ground but go straight to the Kop where the
majority have stayed
We need a refresh on the pitch but a few new fans in the ground would not go amiss 😁

Good point about giving the seats away. It’s Xmas. It’s Rotherham. Give a few 100 away to deserving people. Have a raffle whereby a parent can bring a child. Both free. Why not?

Were most of them that stayed to the end on a coach or train by any chance?
