He’s done it for a living for not even 1 season yet.

Well myself and our group had a very nice afternoon in W London only let down by the trains and the fact the central line was closed.
I’m glad we weren’t smashed out of sight which could have happened had Sterling not obviously taken some kind of bribe to miss the chances he did. It was obvious they’d worked out the snail wouldn’t cope with any kind of pace as seen by Jackson going past him for the first goal without even getting into second gear.
However enjoyed the second half immensely. I wasn’t heartbroken to lose as this season we’ve got 9 cup finals to go. They celebrated like they’d won the CL and I hope they don’t get Cov although I reckon they’ve got half a chance as I thought the billion pound bottlers were generally piss poor. They had pretty much a full team out yesterday. Caicedo cost more than our whole team and he was crap.
Finally what a soulless place SB is. I waited at the gate to go in as I had a ticket for a mate and the amount of half/half scarved tourist fans was off the scale.
Anyway couple of very expensive Guinesses afterwards in the spring sunshine so all in all not a bad day out
By the way how did our fans come across? Bit louder than the KP?

I’ve said before they are not that well supported and haven’t been for years. A colleague of mine from Western Ireland is a member and comes across 3 or 4 times a season. She never struggles for tickets unless it’s a big game.

She was across for work last week and with a couple of weeks notice managed to get 2 tickets for Chelsea v Newcastle on the Monday night about 2 weeks before the game.

Getting tickets for a Chelsea is about the same as it is for us, except their ground holds about 10,000 more. Considering
the amount of tourists and the location bang in the centre of London, it’s amazing they’re not better supported. A few years back they were discussing making it a brand new 60,000 place. What’s the point?
