Sad news last night that Foxes fan Geoff Hickinbottom has passed away, I think he was 91. His son Steve used to take him to matches, I think they went to the odd away game also. Geoff was a stalwart of Cropston CC and had a short period at Grace Road back in the day. Geoff liked his golf as well. RIP Geoff.

I knew him well through football and cricket. He helped run a representative football side from the City League alongside Gerry Cooper. We had an Easter Tour in Belgium in the early 70's and Geoff and his wife were brilliant to be with. He knew his sport inside out.
