Thanks for listening Enzo

Listening to whom? It's a good job we were walking the league, breaking all sorts of records before today's game. Otherwise the man's job was seriously on the line.

I'd guess he means the people who were groaning at Tuesday's soporific lowlights.
And who the fuck gives a shit about "all sorts of records" part way through a season, other than Vardy's?

Much better all round. Better tempo. Maintained the pressure. Kept looking forward. Good use of subs. Made the players acknowledge the fans. Keep it up.
He admitted afterwards that they played that way because they fully expected Stoke to play the way they did.

Much better!!!

I’m really critical of the quality of our squad, openly admit I can’t warm to those that took us down.

But with 16 games left, I’m not sure what Enzo has to do to get some slack considering what he’s done with these players?

l think we are actually better than we give us credit for, we'll be ok in the Premier. We will get players in but we are good enough and moving the right way for sure.
I haven't liked Maresca getting arsey to be honest, he should be bigger than that.

He’s getting it. Youre the experienced man. Couldnt you see the difference in that?

Stoke set up to get absolutely walloped and that’s exactly what happened.

Swansea set up not to get walloped and that is much more awkward to breakdown. They still got beaten.

Saying Enzo now ‘gets it’ is for the birds. He’s not going to change his philosophy because a few people grumbled on a cold January night.

He doesn't have a long enough track record of good management to be arrogant about his position. Like you say he should have been bigger than getting the arse.
If I am right this is his first productive managerial job.
So far he is doing excellent in getting results and putting us in pole position for a return, but to balance it Leeds and Southampton are proving that we should be right up there.
Anything less than top 4 would be a failure with the squad available to us. We clearly have better quality than literally all the championship teams barring our fellow relegated rivals.

I’d argue that he did do something different with the team selection, because I don’t recall him playing such a offensive player as mcateer behind another in fatawu before.

He explained after the game that they're trying different things in the 8 positions because of the absence of Ndidi and Casadei. It made sense to try McAteer there as he's a more natural fit for that position than on the wing. He also explained that we were able to play such attacking football because of the way Stoke were set up.

I suspect anybody who thinks he's had a fundamental change of heart after the moaning at the Swansea game is going to be severely disappointed the next time we come across a team that plays a low block.

I think the last two matches have seen a slight relaxation of the system to allow the players to seize chances more directly.
Hence the rapid transitions when opponents are attracted higher that they really ought to be and offer space for our pace.
Enzo has said recently he did not enjoy this more flexible style but it has undeniably led to more goals.

Low block? Swansea had their back four stood on the halfway line for long periods whilst we where playing "chuckle brothers" passes at the back, the space was there for all to see .
