Apologies - I am sure early arrivals have been through this numerous times....but for any other newbies having a bit of trouble...

Posting a video.

I get the process...but all my icons are greyed out. Hovering the curser leads to the label appearing - ie "media" but no amount of clicking will open a window.

Similarly, bold, Italics, font size etc are also all greyed out.

Is there a simple answer - have I got a setting awry somewhere? Do I need to upgrade my Windows97?
 
Can't see why not - your permissions are set by the 'Gold Roofer' which basically means you can do most everything bar admin/moderating.

Hi Eggs I had the same problem, but have solved it.

When I was looking to reply to messages, I was seeing everything greyed out. Just noticed there is a blank space between the icons - as shown below in the red circle...

When you hover over that space it shows the Toggle BBC Code message below...

Clicking on that space enables the normal options for messages and shows the following symbol...

Hope that makes sense...
