Startrek Moscow

At least we didn’t give the ball away as often as we have been doing recently. 70% possession against a team who came here to defend and get a draw. We’d have been celebrating a win if Vardy had hit it to the left Or Natcho hadn’t been in the way.
Paper over the cracks job if we stumbled over the line today though really. Suppose you’re right though. We were pretty shit at Brentford but we all came away relieved at the result.

It’s been a pretty crap season I enjoy the boozer before and after more than the game these days

Have to say I'm in agreement at the minute.
I was in the family stand for the first time tonight, bumped into some old friends, had a laugh & even shared a bottle of wine outside at half time.
I agree it's more about the day out these days shame the football spoils it.

The only reason we didn’t give the ball away last night was because they didn’t put us under any pressure at all.
The two guys up top were the laziest forwards you will see this season.
We are embarrassingly predictable with our all round play due to our ridged formations that Rodgers loves.
If teams sit back the entire time, then quick movement of the ball & more importantly the players is a must. The lack of passing options for a teammate is a joke due to us being shit scared of losing our shape.

Struggling to maintain any interest or involvement this season, started well enough at Wembley but has been flat ever since.

Last night was a case in point, watching the first half, I was detached and a bit bored, fully expected us to win given the balance of play but not that bothered about following the game. 'Method' football, and it is boring.

Not on TV at the weekend so we are planning a long boozy meze/tapas style lunch Sunday and I shall pretty much ignore the game.

We need some 'zest' in our play, from where I have no idea, but Christ, we are in desperate need of a kick up the backside.

I think back to all those years following Leicester, when we were utter shit. Kept at it, home and away - rarely expecting us to win.
A few indifferent performances in one of the best spells in our history and people are on about not watching them anymore, having no interest and bored.
What the fuck is wrong with you people?

so we're not "utter shit" now then ? ok my mistake.

If you think this is utter shite, you have a very short-term memory.
The same people that would’ve squawked & wagged fingers once upon a time at younger fans whose support may have just started when we had a modicum of success, & expected it to continue.

Because, back then we knew that we were not very good so expectations were low, we could react positively to a team of modest quality actually giving it a go and us something to cheer.

Back in the early noughties, I used to fly in from our home in Marbella for a Saturday game, often flying back the same evening, practically on the go for a full 24 hours, used to love it, it was somehow, really worth while.

Now I can be barely bothered to follow the game live, might be different if I could get to games 'in person', but on TV I am finding it very difficult.

1st world problems, eh.

On reflection, for me I think a lot of my discontent is down to not actually getting to live games. I think that has changed my perspective as I feel like a 'viewer' rather than a 'supporter'. That is not good.

Its not a few indifferent performances , though, is it?

Totally agree, particularly our home form. We were poor at home for much of last season.
How many league defeats, 8,9,10?
When you play at home you have got to take every advantage it gives you. Yet one of those weapons, the fans, are blunted by ponderous slow starts to a game. When was the last time that we were awesome in the first half ? When did we rip into a team from the 1st whistle ?
It's this slow, pedestrian non threatening style of football that agitates. I believe we are so much better, but we are not showing it over 90 minutes.
Last night after the equilizer we should of thrown the kitchen sink, yet they seemed to slow the tempo again, and despite the fact the clock was against us.

Exactly this.
We are over a quarter way through the season, with another 6 cup games played on top & we’ve played well once.

Once? Assuming you mean the manure game. Yes it was a reasonably good performance especially the last 20 mins. But they were awful which helped us enormously.

Brilliant mate hopefully see you in Globe again soon I’m going Leeds but it’s poor kick off time

It certainly is.
I'm up for the Chelsea game, but again that's a poor KO.
Looking at the fixtures, I doubt if I'll be in that lovely old boozer this side of Xmas.
