Springsteen

Bruce has done an album of Stax,/Motown covers including Do I love you, a couple by Jerry Butler and others.
I think it is out next month.
Should be worth a listen.

Saw him at the NEC in the eighties, must have done three hours, he was brilliant, and we were sat right at the back

The Boss is a legend in these parts. I can’t say that I love his music, but he is great in concert. I also saw his one man show on Broadway and that was brilliant.

Saw him at St. James' Park in '85, best concert I ever went to. Broadway show apart hasn't really produced anything of note for a decade or so as far as I'm concerned but that's the beauty of music, everyone likes different things and long may it continue.

I've bought it I'm quite impressed, he was on Graham Norton and explained when he was a kid he loved soul music and had always wanted to do an album of Soul as a tribute to the music he still loved ,he also came a across is a nice bloke. He said he was asked by young fan and his girlfriend after a gig to go and visit the lads mum which he did his mum even scrambled eggs for him ,you wouldn't get many music stars doing that.

There's always been a slightly 'Stax-y' element to some of his tunes, what with 'the big man' & all...
