Players been told to find a new club

The 4 first team squad members who didn't feature today are all surplus to requirements and have been told to find new clubs - Iversen, Ward, Thomas and Soumare. Castagne, Albrighton and Souttar all expected to move on too.

I also feel for Iverson and Albrighton for that matter. But hey shit happens - it's Enzos show now and he makes, and will ultimately be responsible for, decisions like this.
 
It’s a bit harsh on both Iversen and Thomas, but I don’t think either one of them will have a problem getting fixed up.
 
Same guy also expects (his opinion, not something from wuthin the club) that Praet will leave, should we get a fee, as his family want to return to Italy.
 
I'd be surprised if the new boss has made such a sweeping judgement of Luke Thomas - since he's only been back training with the squad for not much over a week...

I agree it seems a tad premature. 'Why's it always me' hereabouts may well have the SP on that rumour.
 
Let’s get the Italian Chelsea kid this week and then we can move a couple on.

I’ve always thought DP is decent but understand the pull of Italy v Lestoh for his family !
 
We're not playing with full backs and Thomas can't play as as a wing back or as the left of three CBs.

So why keep him?

When Thomas first broke through, every fucking cross he put in was a worldly, and I mean every single one of them. He scored that volley against Man Utd. I reckon he’s better going forward. It’s just that Brendan trained the natural talent out of him.

I don’t believe he’s been told to find a new club unless that happened today however as others have said they way we set up currently I personally don’t think he will get much game time as you have JJ,Timmy and VK all who can play that position too.

He loves the club and doesn’t want to leave but this is football and it’s brutal so if he’s not going to be getting games I’d expect him to move on.

As I say these are just my views and things could be going on that I’m not aware of but I’m confident he hasn’t been told to find a new club yet but could see the logic in it based on how we are playing and not making the squad yesterday.

I personally hope that if he’s not in their plans moving forward they allow him to leave for a fair price and not price him out of a move. He needs to play football and I know that’s what he wants. I don’t think being away with England will have helped as he’s about 3 weeks behind everyone else so the manager he’s only recently started to see what he can do.
 
I wanted Thomas to stay even if its just as a squad player this season, he will get better with experience.

I'm not claiming to be itk, but apparently Iversen,Soumare and Thomas have been told to find new clubs.My daughter his a friend of somebody who knows Thomas ,he has been talking about it on a group chat amongst close friends ..
 
Albrighton has been a magnificent servant to us but it’s time he was moved on.

Maybe it’s because he’s local but I woukd persevere with Thomas. He’s just been with the England youth team this summer in a successful tournament. He can only get better with some experience in this league. If he really doesn’t have a place in our squad I’d like to see him loaned out not sold.
 
Need to keep Thomas, he'd smash the championship. Timmy will be off - if not now, in January - and JJ doesn't have the best injury record.
