Nelson, Alves, Cannon & Braybrook

Would you seriously chuck either kid coming back from serious injuries into any of these games for their debuts?

If you don’t play you don’t get experience, Ndidi has been poor since his injury, not sure how long ago Alves & Braybrook had their nasty injuries and Cannon looks decent but again is always injured with his back problem, my post was just a simple question as to where these players are after injuries or are they deemed not good enough to start/play for the first team…

We certainly seem more reluctant to risk kids in front of our reasonable, patient and tolerant crowd than say the scallies and the arse appear to be.
KDH was what, 21, before he made his debut? Ashley Chambers was retired by that age, wasn't he? ;)

I do have to ask why we signed a player who was injured at the time. It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.
I remember when we signed Frank Worthington back in the 70s, he had heart problems apparently but we took a chance and he continued to play brilliantly and the rest is history, Cannon is different though as his is a back/spine problem which is proving to be an issue, shame really as he looked like a decent young un…

So what I can gather is that there were other teams after him so we had to act fast. We brought him for the future which with Vardy and Nacho going he will be vying with Daka as first choice striker.

Liverpool discovered Frank had high blood pressure. Shanks still wanted him and paid for a holiday abroad.
According to the Examiner archives, the trip involved: "Seven days of carousing, which involved two Swedish blondes, a night with Miss Great Britain, a casual encounter at the airport with a woman whose name he didn’t catch and a night with a young Belgian beauty"
When he reappeared at Anfield his blood pressure (surprisingly) was off the scale! Leicester pounced and the rest is our history.
