This lad is not the answer to our goal scoring needs, sorry he's probably a great lad and all that but he just isn't the answer. He just seems clueless, oblivious to what's going on around him basically I think he's thick and doesn't know what he should be doing . If he does score its as though that's his days work done!
So what / who is the answer?????
 
All we can hope for is that Daka gets shipped out and Enzo has a replacement lined up
That would give us 3 options up front, not ideal but I think it would be the best we could achieve by the close of the window.
 
Hes got a great left foot and no awareness, it'll get us by but l still think Vardy id numero uno, just that bit were he chased the ball down the eventually led to the goal was vintage Vardy.

Get 60 minutes a game out of him and he'll win us the league.

Then we need a real striker, Piroe is my choice, of which I'd guess that we have spoke to him and l think we might well get him at some point.

Though l think Butch might get us plenty of goals until that point.
 
I think if we can get circa £20m for Daka I’d buy Piroe. Can Swansea afford to turn down £20m for someone who’s out for free next season. They’re not going to get promoted so might as well cash in

Interestingly Yates their new signing has scored twice this season and Piroe nothing.

How are we getting 20m for any of these the club is deluded.

Just got to get rid of them are their wages and move on.

These signings were appalling and now they will just sit and take their ridiculous contracts

Piroe yes.
 
I think any striker would struggle with our slow build up play, we need to move it forward quicker and maybe Butch might make this side of things improve, I actually thought nacho has done ok so far.
 
At the normal pace that we do our transfer buisiness, the reports of clubs interested in our players is all much too late.

We won’t hear a peep from the Club until any incomings are medical clear and wearing the shirt. Personally I think it’s all too late. Hope I’m wrong cos it will be a long 5 months+ with what we’ve got, even assuming we can swerve the Seagrave Curse.

This is why I don't think he'll go. Maresca has no interest in working with Daka and Vardy can't play every game. If Iheanacho leaves we'll need a quality replacement, which will be hard to come by at this late stage.
 
What about the lad at Swansea Pirloe to replace 1 striker?
If Ian and Daka leave we will require 2 strikers, or he may sign 1 striker do a "Pep" for some games and play with a false Number 9
43 games + cup games = 2 strikers will not be enough (+ injuries/suspensions)

At this late stage it would be a great bit of business to move an established player out and bring in a winning replacement.
I can't see it either. And at this level Nacho should have it in him to become our main striker.
 
We were linked with both Piroe and the lad at Blackpool (who went on to sign for Swansea) weeks and weeks ago. I know we've brought others into the squad in various positions but to me a striker has been a massive priority and its looking like we're in grave danger of missing the boat again.
