Mobile ST access now default

How on earth do they justify 25 quid for a bit of plastic?
There will be a time when they are grateful for every paying punter.
Is that really going to convince people who share STs to buy more tickets.

The point is you're not meant to share tickets.

I know someone that has had his tickets suspended and is awaiting a hearing on whether they get to keep them next season.

Did he share them with a friend/family member, or put them up for sale online?

Maybe the club should charge for other plastics
The time has come for the club to stop spending thousands on Clappers
If you want one there should be the availability to purchase outside the stadium ala programmes
Charging season ticket holders for a card is much like a shop charging a punter for using plastic 😄

At least you can pass on your ticket legally through the club 4 times per season. I’ve done it 4 times and it’s an easy system. I believe though they need to up this to more. At least 25% of matches. The £25 cost isn’t for the card. It’s a deterrent. Wouldn’t surprise me if they up it to £50 next season.

Talking about deterrents is ridiculous
Another season in the championship will reduce it without a problem 🙂

It's clear that their nudging to phone tickets hasn't worked as they wanted. Around 20-25% have chosen or tolerated it. That might increase to 30% with a season or two more. So they have no choice but to charge. Fans' only way of avoiding it is to complain like fuck.
I'm sending a screen-grab of the Roof's facebook NO poster to every email address I have for the fuckers, on the hour, every hour...

According to Foxes Trust...

Only around 1600 season ticket holders chose to go digital last season; a clear indication the vast majority of season ticket holders do not want to go digital, and in addition there have been a number of glitches with the digital ticket system this season.

So they want to punish everyone who would rather keep their phone out of the equation instead of taking it up with those whom they think have misappropriatly used their card ST? If this is true that's me done. If my money up front isn't good enough they can get fucked.

Am I right in thinking that away fans have no choice but phone tickets?
And match by match fans too?

Pretty sure visiting fans have physical tickets (or at least a choice) same as our tickets for away games.

Now you've got me wondering if they'll be changing that for our away tickets next season!

We have also analysed data from 42 home matchdays in which up to 7,000 attendees per matchday have used Mobile Tickets

That's from the OS.

Take away the visiting fans (paper tickets) and the members (mandatory mobile tickets) I'd say the 1600 number is pretty accurate.

Especially as that says "up to 7000".... which actually means "on one occasion this season we nearly had 7000".

If we go up I guess I’m paying an extra 34% per game next season in G2 for the benefit of having a season ticket card and sitting through endless effing VAR decisions. And possibly watching us start on minus points. Inflation’s a killer ain’t it?

Where is the definition of a registered disability...?
Supporters with a Disability who can provide the Club with any of the following as proof of their disability shall be entitled to purchase a Season Ticket or match ticket under the applicable criteria at a prevailing disability price as set by the Club for its qualifying Supporters with a Disability. This Season Ticket/ticket shall include a free personal assistant ticket for each Match attended by the Supporter with a Disability. The qualifying criteria is as follows (or as otherwise determined at the discretion of the Club):•
Standard or enhanced rate of Personal Independent Payment (PIP) for mobility;•
Receipt of the Disability Living Allowance at Middle/Higher Rate;•
Receipt of the Attendance Allowance;•
Receipt of the Employment & Support Allowance (ESA);• Blind or partially sighted registration certificate, CredAbility Access Card; and/or•
Any other special documentation at the discretion of the Club

I've just read again the renewal notice they sent out the other day can't find any reference to it there - presume it's in the small print?

How times change. They used to be grateful to receive your money in whatever way you chose to offer it.

If away fans have paper tickets, then you can't subtract them from the 7000. So who were they?
That figure looks distinctly untrue given the 1600 figure which, I'm very reliably told, was stated by the club in a meeting with the Foxes Trust as reported in the Fox Annual 2. They also confirmed that 1600 was less than the year before.
So the harder they make it to have a plastic card, the more people choose to have one. Ie more people weren't happy with "the club's goals for a more sustainable and efficient stadium experience" having tried it.
Which means all the guff now is complete bollocks. I'll tell them. Hopefully others will too.

Sorry, yes you're right.

I meant to say:
32500 seats
- 23000 ST holders
- 2500 away fans (average guesstimate)

Leaves 7000 potential tickets each match for members, which by default are mobile tickets. That's without segregation etc, so actual number could be lower.

If the club says "up to 7000" are using mobile tickets per match then my fagpacket maths suggests not many ST holders have opted for it. So the rumoured number of 1600 passes the sniff test for "is it bull?".
