What would the BCCs want?

They'd be happy to see them liquidated. Less competition, more fans to hoovered up, shirts to be sold etc.

For that reason, as much as I hate them we need to retain historical community clubs like the shaggers.

If was the F****t though....
 
I can see both sides of the opinions....I don't like derby but I wouldn't want the club to cease to exist...maybe made to restart in league 2.
It's the board/money people who fuck the clubs up but we take the brunt...they'll fuck a club up and just walk away...we're there for life.

Not so much over Ashby way. My dads family are largely from Measham and Appleby M. Bizarrely, Appleby used to be an enclave of Derbyshire whilst firmly within Leics. Some of my dads family were firmly Derby and although there are fewer of them as time marches on, there are still to many Rams and Red Dogs out that way. The ville is solidly blue though.

I disagree with this, why should a new club be parachuted in to the league structure? No one did that for Newport or AFCW.
 
BBC Breakfast are there this morning interviewing a couple of fans. It all has the familiar ring of Bury about it.

This weekend may be their last game.
 
I'm hoping they get dissolved on Saturday.
I'd chuckle at the irony of me picking up European Football tickets as they get wiped out the league.
 
Fuckers have been given another month's grace to prove they can get funding.

Coincides with our Away trip in Europe and potentially qualifying for the round of 16 fixtures.
