It’s my first home game in two years tomorrow, can anyone recommend a decent pub within walking distance, my youngest is old enough to drink now so we’ll have a pint or two first.
 
No caants in there. Decent people.
I'm not a real ale person so its not for me.
But I can see why people like it.

You can't get to the bar for boxes and boxes of Positivity Pills, compulsory purchase with a pint. Card to the Landlord, cash to the pinko lefty in there.;)

Was in last home game just to see good people who go in there but need new people running the Globe or it will close down.
I’m surprised you ain’t against cashless society Charlie.
 
Was it true about the Globe asking armed forces punters in uniform being asked to leave? been no a while ago now heard lots of rumors but I’m not from Leicester so not sure if it’s true or not.

No - it was a bollocks Internet rumour. The landlord was in the Merc denying it.
 
Gave the Salmon a go today. Could do with a refurb but had a solid pint of Insidious (Salamander). Would go back. They aren’t card only.
