Not a seal clap to be seen or 2 fingers whistle. He’s no Brendan Rodgers
And so he should.Looked mighty relieved when the final whistle went
And so he should.
Coventry have only themselves to blame for missing good chances.
Not heard anything from my Cov family who were at the game.Thankfully you can go home now with your head held high!
Don’t know who he thinks he is making subs that actually have a positive impact on the game. He’s no Brendan Rodgers
I said exactly the same Praet provided the quality we was missing up until he came on.Don’t know who he thinks he is making subs that actually have a positive impact on the game.
What made you think we were undercooked? By all accounts the training sessions have been really intense, with a heavy emphasis on fitness and stamina. We also played one more preseason game than Coventry despite the cancelled Spurs match. We had a poor pre season imo. I said to my Cov fan mate at work that we are very undercooked for this game.
The fact we got a result is superb.
More miles in the legs, more time for the newbies to settle in. We will get better and today was a day where the result was way bigger than the performance. I feel better about our chance's
Virtually everyone in the game always says that there is no substitution for games to establish match fitness. So the lack of games probably led him to that conclusion? What made you think we were undercooked? The fact that the covscum were even more undercooked has nothing to do with our preparation.
Why we ditched NFPs schedule of PSFs building from non-league, through the domestic div's, to a comparable-league finale, is beyond me – that always seemed really sensible.
Totally agree. Passion in a manager can’t be undervaluedJust re-watched.
Loved seeing him celebrate the winner with some passion. Rather than stone faced with baby hands clapping.
I know ultimately it doesn’t make a huge difference but it was nice to see.
More matches are vitally important over just training. Intensity levels, while not at the level of a league game still would be up a good few notches from a training session. What made you think we were undercooked? Well we didn’t look undercooked to me yesterday. In fact, we looked stronger as the game went on. Based on that performance, I’d say any fears about our preseason leaving us ill-prepared were unfounded.More matches are vitally important over just training. Also matches will show you what any player is really about. Obviously he’s seen something he likes in vestergaard in training, but matches will show the truth.
You are spot there ClaphamWell we didn’t look undercooked to me yesterday. In fact, we looked stronger as the game went on. Based on that performance, I’d say any fears about our preseason leaving us ill-prepared were unfounded.
Presumably it will be a completely different starting 11.Well we are clearly going to be too tired for the Burton game now
He went back to RangersI agree that, although covscum were no Brentford, and it was nowhere near as hot, there was a marked improvement on fitness compared to the last cunt's regime.
Has anyone heard what the medical / Dr situation is, as I'm sure his dodgy doc pissed off back to sweatyland?
Yeah, I know BFR's dodgy doc fucked off back there. But who replaced him?He went back to Rangers
Some fella called Shipman, Harold I thinkYeah, I know BFR's dodgy doc fucked off back there. But who replaced him?
