By the way l run a few miles most days and i'm in the gym 4 or 5 times a week, my blood pressure is perfect as is all my bloods. l have them checked once a month and everything is A1, l only have them checked because my medical insurance pay for it (they expected me to die) and the nurse comes to my house. Pound to a penny l can match you for fitness and you are the same age as my kids, never had a heart scare in my life, i've always engaged in sport, so l guess that pisses on you cornflakes !

Surely the point is that Bnet wrote that in response to a specific disparaging comment about him and his health. To look at it in isolation and suggest he wrote it merely as some sort of vanity statement fails to recognise that obvious context. It's just an excuse to take the piss.

The argument about whether Trump lost the US Presidential Election. That's what the post started as and I understand was referring to the fact than on this board you bet others that Trump actually won the electon by a huge majority. Trading insults with people about unrelated events personally is well off target and playground stuff. On both sides, not just you BNet.
Also as you post on a message board for all to see, you can't really complain when people not directly involved give their support or otherwise to the argument.

it’s to an extent a matter of opinion but I would argue anything that advocates violence against others or is likely to lead to harm to others crosses the line where freedom of speech and the responsibility that should go with it is crossed .
That would be my principle, but appreciate the definition of what incited violence will be tricky .

I'm not disagreeing what trump did or didn't do. I'm saying do you think the outcome would be different if he was saying what he said on another platform. A secure server. E-mail group whatever. Because if you're that into him or what he says to actually go and kick off you're going to find a way to get hold of his words.
