In the friendlys Bertrand was lumbering about like he was totally out of condition, 3 months on and there's no improvement. Some people talked of his passing and set-piece delivery being a positive but, far from it, it seems like he is a complete washout.

No Thomas isn’t having the best of it at the moment, but when the only choice in personnel is himself or Bertrand, it should never be the latter.

but that was his sole contribution last night. lost count of the times he lumbered forward, only to turn and pass backward (or worse, run it out of play when he was in a really dangerous attacking position). he just doesn't look interested.

Sorry, but anybody playing at there level should be able to pass a ball 25 yards ie a corner kick!!! What I don't understand and never will is why we don't attack the ball? If it doesn't land on a city players head nothing happens so how come under MON we dominated the penalty box both ends! had players who crossed and delivered balls with ease? Now was that down to coaching or purchasing of particular types of players.
Either way I'd suggest Brendan has a look at how it worked for us.
