Just over 79 years of support from a lad in short trousers have I seen such a woeful effort, and I've seen plenty who were inadequate, some who really did not deserve to be on the pitch, I can forgive players who played on mudheaps even forgive those who no fault of there own were pub players, I can forgive teams being outplayed.
I know I wear blue tinted glasses but the
Inforgiveable sin is not trying which time was displayed in abundance last night
Sorry for all those who paid to watch such rubbish
Forgive my ramblings but I am distraught at such a display could come from my team

Surely last night, was not our worst performance of the last 79 years?

It's not our worst playing as a result just fail to see any worse nonchalant activity in those years if you try and get hammered that's fair enough but come on who tried apart from Amarty........ too many lazy passes too much lazy control of the ball total rubbish against team set up to defend and we had no brains no skill no thought.

I have all the respect in the world for you.
You've put the decades in, supporting this club through thick and thin.
But last night wasn't that bad.
I was at most of the away games in the Pleat years.
Stood through some abject dross, in front of less than 7,000 at the Street.
Nothing this season has been as bad as the past...

I can’t get too mad with this bunch, the current gaffer surprised me by managing to win something, I thought he was a serial loser. ….and they do seem a bit cheesed off when they don’t win.
It’s individuals like Ian Holloway, DJ fuckin Campbell and Jermaine Beckford that I do recall making me very pissed off.
Come on Kendal, you’ve just forgotten those REALLY bad times….

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attackers like shit glimpsed over the shoulder of Sumo. I watched B-teams shatter in the dark before walking down to Gallowtree Gate. All those moments of crapulence will be lost in time, like Tearse in rain. Time to die.

Hull City 2-5 under Pleat? Walsall FA Cup 78?
There are endless matches you could point to over the years I could if my memory serves me probably write about a couple of hundred but I was dismayed and overwrought by the lack of willingness to strive for a win and our sheer lack of inventiveness to get through a blanket defence plus our overall lack of desire to turn things around as I said looked for all as though we were at Seagrave training

It really wasn’t that bad ... my god have I seen a lot worse!
To my mind, Castagne and Soumare worked their socks off.
The two players that weren’t at it at all were Bertrand and the statuesque Daka - he didn’t run the line at all to create space.
But I get what you’re saying about a training exercise at Seagrave. But that’s because they sat so deep with 5, sometimes 6 across the back.

One thing that does get me - and that’s seeing happy smiling players training at Seagrave all over the official social media. Time the Comms team showed us some of them showing some grimacing and sweat. That look Dennis Rofe had before doing another run up that sandhill!

There have been many abject performances over the decades but never with such a talented group of players. There was the skill in that team on Thursday to
