Do you really expect Preston and Ipswich to last the course.A top three worries me as one will miss out. It often is a top three however.
With the caveat it was a different division. Strength in depth and injuries will be crucial. Not sure Ipswich will fade - they are on a fabulous run which started last season.
Not Preston, but expect Ipswich to be up there all season without any big injuries obviously.Do you really expect Preston and Ipswich to last the course.
Neither will last until Christmas.
correct. Most teams in this division have good key players but no equivalent replacement if they get injured. With the caveat it was a different division. Strength in depth and injuries will be crucial.
plus using plenty of subs. It’s obvious Enzo’s vision is to play a ‘Man City’ like squad whereby nobody is guaranteed a place. 18 players used regularly. Ricky who has started every game didn’t play last night. It’s the strength in depth we have which is head and shoulders above anyone else. He’s less than 3 months in yet last night showed we are well ahead in respect of where he wants us to be. It’s not just the results but the how. It’ll only get better. Even Sutton loved us last night!
He’s got other things to plan and prepare for.Yes it is taking shape and when this style/system of play clicks we will be hard to catch.
You wont need to paint the back door to match the front as with this damp autumn weather on its way its not a good time to do it anyway
EM's never made any secret of saying you need 20 players to play his way. He repeated that to the Athletic just the other day. It’s obvious Enzo’s vision is to play a ‘Man City’ like squad whereby nobody is guaranteed a place. 18 players used regularly. Preston have a long history of blowing good starts / positions in this div, right back to Moyes' days.Preston have had a very favourable fixture list so far. On paper they won't have an easy October...
And this year they'll probably blame it on us buying ol' broken back.....Preston have a long history of blowing good starts / positions in this div, right back to Moyes' days.

Mind the gapAlready some 14 points difference between Leicester (first) and C*v (nineteenth) and we've only played eight games.
Long may that last.
As me old Dad use to say “A fool and his money are soon parted”Yes but I reckon its about time for me to tear up my relegation betting slip.
