Leicester City have opened the season with 4 wins out of 4. It feels good, but it’s also stirring all sorts of emotions.

Looking at words to describe the team I’d go for:

Fitter
Enduring
Purpose
System
Confidence

Plus ‘lucky’ - the fact that thankfully we’ve played teams that simply haven’t the quality in front of goal to make us pay for our lapses. That gap through the middle that has appeared at some point in every game we’ve played so far needs plugging.

As pointed out, there have been instances where we’ve been cut apart, but somehow got out of it.

However, I don’t think anyone should underestimate that wins have come with a backdrop of some chaos largely as a result of the shitshow of last season - players coming in, players leaving, players that should be leaving not being picked up by others, players that said they wanted to leave deciding to stay, potential players pondering whether to come to us or not.

For Maresca to at the very least got the positive results he has so far, is a bloody miracle.

Completely agree. This football is not Brendanball. It’s not the hot potatoe that we used to see when it was passed along the back four in recent seasons. There is no more “oh crap, Amartey has it”
I’m very relaxed watching it, and if we can get a centre forward who can make the Vardyesque runs, we will start seeing more goals as well
