Keep The Faith Soulie Tunes

Definately Where is the Love. But on the northern scene they hit earlier. Then crossed over to main stream

l was just listening to few songs on here Borebage while watching the Red Scum, and noticed no one put this link up for you. So here you are and l included the lyrics so you can have a bit of a sing song with Leroy ;)

Thankyou Larry,Lawrie or Lemmy!

worth a watch !
I lived in Bognor in '77 and '79 after leaving London and there was great soul nights all around the area in small clubs, but as in London a new wave of music took over like Crown Heights Affair, The Blackbyrds and JGW, it was a Soulboy thing. Soulboys wasn't anything to do with Northern it was more of a thing, and l think was the fore runner for Casuals. We get Northerm lads referring to themselves as soul boys, but they are only hijacking the name.

He actually plays Show Me the Way original, that l shared on here a few weeks ago of which l think me or Waltho hadn't previously heard by Seville.

- can you here Mazes - Sunshine and Rain in this or is it me ?

I do like a bit of Fatback, in fact I've got that Yum Yum album cover framed & on the wall in the back bedroom.
Can't say the missus was too impressed

I love this woman, when Acid Jazz Totally Wired series was selling tens of thousands they owed Alice Clark royalties.
Legend has it, she couldn't be found having joined a Rastafarian commune somewhere in New York.

Despite attempts by the label to find her & pay her what they owed, she was never tracked down.

I heard this recently, whilst I'm not 100% convinced, I reckon that "Leroy's" vocal makes it.
my late dads favourite !

used to hear this around our house as little kids, I'm starting to realise how l was channeled into soul.

2 songs l hated as a kid, this and Mr Bo Jangles, l seem to like them know, probably because of the place it takes you back too.
