Brendan would be a perfect fit for Utd??
With the sword of Damocles hanging over his head in Ferguson.
His influence on that team is so overpowering you are always fighting history never mind opponents.
Yes it's a good job but the pitfalls remain whilst Ferguson is alive and kicking.
 
Manyou have not learnt from the past.

When O'Farrell went there to replace Busby (actually I think there was someone in between?) he was still there in the background like a bad smell. Same with Fergie, they need cut all links from him to the team. IMHO (but I hope they don't!)

Man Utd and the media are living in the past. They are broken from top to bottom, it's an old boys network with zero strategic thinking or planning in place. £50m over 2 years on a 36 year old who isn't as good as he was 18 months ago, signed as a vanity project as Man City fooled them in thinking he was going there.

Would I be surprised if Rodgers went there, no. But I think he'd be daft to as he's currently at a club, who are progressing off the field and have a clear vision/strategy of where they want to get to.

Until the summer everyone thought Barcelona were too big to fail. Manchester United are a shambles, all this Rodgers for United (Newcastle or Manchester) is just your A-typical lazy domestic sports hack/pundity.
 
By money talks I think we’re talking about individual salaries and packages they give to players and managers, not that the more they spend the more success they will have.

If Man U offered Rodgers double or more what he was getting here would he move? Maybe, maybe not but he would consider it, he’d be mad not to.
 
I've. Read Pogba given a free transfer at the end of the Season. Thought he was their last piece in the puzzle for there champions bid
 
Short of saying outright that he’s not interested Brendan has made it clear he’s fully committed to Lestuh.
