The main wildebeest herd is now being replaced by the clattering of stiletto heels and very short dresses. I have concealed myself in an Attenborough style "hide" in the bar we are now in to observe this phenomenon more closely. More updates to follow!
 
We are are now in a Barracuda bar which I thought went bust around 15 years ago? I imagine this one is still trading because the bailiffs daren't come in. We are now on pint number 7. I anticipate complications!

Hartlepool for me. Just tucked into a ‘Parmo’ (when in Rome….) Been to the Royal Navy museum, catching the train to the game, then Castle Howard on the way back.
 
All the "delights" of Middlesbrough now explored. Basically 2 busy pubs and not a lot else. Pictures on every wall of the transporter bridge abound. Now approaching double figures score of pints consumed. On our way to retirement in the hotel bar. Towel not quite thrown in yet. Will be up bright and early to herald the arrival of the "blue army" hordes tomorrow. Good night and god bless!
 
Ale-wise. Twisted Lip and Infant Hercules been good so far.
If you fancy an altercation try the Devil’s Advocate. Their ‘lads’ in there trying to be menacing.
