Allegations dating back to 1955. FFS.
Who did he know, to get away with it?
What did he know about others?

Of course it is a complete coincidence, that Keith Vaz was the most passionate supporter of Janner in 1991. Rising to speak in his defence in the HoC. Another coincidence is Janner's pivotal role, in promoting Vaz's political career...
 
Plenty on the old roof who wouldn’t have it when the dirty nonce bastard was accused.
 
An Asian lady just up the street from us, the mother of one of my brother's mates, worked for the council in the 80s/90s and had dealings with both Vaz and Janner. She spoke of both with utter contempt and I clearly remember her once saying of Janner, "One day it will all come out about him". Vile man.
 
I can recall 'stories' about Janner when I still lived in Leicester. I was fairly innocent about such things and did not really understand, the language being used was quite vague but the consensus, even then, was that he was a nasty shit.

I left Leicester in 1969, so 50 years ago.
 
I went to Shaftesbury Junior School and can remember him doing visits to the school. A couple of years ago i was talking to someone who was deputy head there for a few years after I left. Janner's name came up and Roger said that when he started at the school he was told if Janner wanted to visit and the head wasn't there on no account should he be allowed in the school. This was in 1972.
 
I'm a 'lefty'. At no time have I ever sought to defend Janner or Vazz (who is a knob of course) for their disgusting practices nor do I recall anyone on Bentleys ever doing so. Is there any evidence of this? George Ferris is spot on: "left/right doesn’t matter .nobody can defend the indefensible."

It's a tragedy(for the victims in particular) that Janner snuffed it before the many allegations of sexual abuse against him over a 30 years period could be heard in a Court Of Law. The Police, the Crown Prosecution Service, Leicestershire County Council and the Labour Party are all culpable to varying serious degrees that the nonce never got the punishment he so deserved.

I had the great misfortune to meet Frank Beck on several occasions in my early days as a Social Worker with LCC. He and Janner were well known to each other. At least Beck got the justice he warranted. Having friends in high places must have been a big factor in why Janner escaped prosecution.
 
What a strange world we live in when not shaking the career ladder is more important than child safety.

I am a strong believer that letting 10 guilty men go is better than putting 1 innocent man in prison, but for that to work we must have an honest and reliable justice system where having friends in high places counts for nothing

it wasn't aimed at all lefties just the ones with history of defending anyone if they can find a PC angle. We do have them on here.

its a certain few lefties, well commies actually, who defend anyone that they can, to draw attention to their "right on" fake attitude. You actually know what l meant really didn't you, but you're just having a pop because l said "lefties".

No-one has defended Jenner or any other paedophile.
 
We don’t appear as a society to put child safety where it belongs at the very top of the priority list which is a stain on the nation.

Cyril Smith is another one from the same era. More recently the grooming gang scandal. It goes on and on.

its institutionalised and it goes to the very top, the world over. Look no further than the ground troops, the freemasons. Why do you think every judges, councillors, mayors, church leaders, and all the OB are wrapped up in it, plus the military top brass.

100 years ago sons of rich families went mostly into 3 occupations - the clergy, politics or the military. All held power over the masses and still do but the clergy as ceased to be one really, probably replaced by law of which previously was part of joining politics, still is but law now as its own benefits in a corrupt system.
