It’s a cess pit, whole whole fucking lot.

Had an issue at work last week. A delivery from India had termites in the packaging.
We moved the pallets outside.
I was due to meet a supplier this morning to show him an issue with stock he’s bringing in to us. The container arrives and lo and behold it’s another delivery of the stock we found last week. I checked it out and sure enough there was evidence of termites on this delivery too. The container didn’t smell too healthy either!
So container rejected, e-mails sent and they come back to me with the fumigation certificate from India. It obviously didn’t work but interestingly I googled the chemical it was fumigated with. The chemical is banned in the EU and all United Nations countries but in the UK, although banned we allow products into the country that have been sprayed with it. Another example of Taking back control I thought. While trying to get more info on the chemical, data sheets etc, I come across another chemical, an insecticide, chlorpyrifos, which is banned throughout the EU fields because it causes irreversible brain damage in children. But guess what, the EU is shipping some 380 tonnes a year to poor countries with weaker regulations. The main destinations were Algeria, Tunisia, Kazakhstan, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Costa Rica.
I don’t care if you’re a leaver or a remainer. It’s fucking disgusting, and we let these cunts take the moral high ground with us.

I'm not sure how you go about these things but this needs to be in the MSM urgently

Ask Boris to put it in his new newspaper column

It's just so fucking obvious and tiresome.

If, what RV has posted is factually correct (and was in the Guardian ) the wokey types would be linking the story endlessly
A few darky kids get brain damage. It’s ok they’ll give a fiver to Lenny Henry and stick a red nose on. That’ll exonerate them.

I'd be interested to understand where the source of these chemicals is. I suspect Germany but am happy to be corrected.

None of that surprises me.
I'm sure I've told you some of my experiences with pharmaceutical companies over the years.

Completely agree with you.
And it worries me that we, the UK, appear to be relaxing our legislation on these kind of things recently (temporarily of course). Pesticides and the like.

On a more flippant note: how did you move the pallet outside....what brand of forkie were you riding?

Had them use pump trucks, even I know forklifts shouldn’t be used outside 🙂

Oh, and it would be interesting to know if the crops being sprayed with this shit is being exported into the UK.
