Imagine Luton

Coming up via the playoffs.
All the BCC playing at Kenilworth Road.
Wasn't the European Super League supposed to stop stories like this?
Their ground is not upto Premier league standards, and as they are planning a new stadium anyway it would be financially unviable to make alterations. Their best bet is to groundshare till new stadium is built.

Neither was Blackpool's, some may argue Bournemouth's

No but Kenilworth is really dated and can't cope with premier league crowds round the stadium.
There are lots of reasons why Kenilworth Road has issues and is not suitable but what is so different about a Premier League crowd "round the stadium" to the largest Championship crowds "round the stadium" or, indeed, the crowd for a high profile cup game? It's not the crowd or the competition, it's the ground itself.

Anyway, they can f**k off. I have always thought it was somewhat poetic that they voted for the Premier League and until now never played in it. And as for plastic pitches and David Evans pfffffffffffffffffffffff. Hate 'em.

Can you explain what the difference is between a sell-out Div 2 crowd there, and a sell-out PL crowd there?:rolleyes::rolleyes:

And why the fuck would they groundshare for a year and throw away just about the only advantage that they'd have over any PL opposition?
I'm just repeating what I read their managing director said about the stadium.

In that case it might help your reputation on here if you made that clear, rather than allow us to think you spout shit like that all the time.
Or better still, just don't bother repeating shit like that.
Oh – and did he come out with the ground-share bollocks too, or was that some of your own pearls of wisdom?

There's always one on here tight arse😂😂

They’ve already stated they’ll have to spend £10m on stadium upgrades if they go up.

That’ll be things like the floodlights and press facilities etc.

Indeed, those lights that PL clubs now have to have would bring most of Kenilworth Road down.

Oh, and just totting things up, lest we forget... they were in '59 what Tottenham were in '87. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

This is my problem with Bournemouth. If they stay up it’ll mean they’ve had 8/9 seasons in the PL. Probably over a £billion in tv rights. Yet they’re still allowed to play in a ground of 10000 with I believe still no new ground on the horizon.

Why should they have a bigger capacity?
