Served my apprenticeship there in 1963, sadly now Sainsburys are there on Melton Road.

Seems like a lifetime ago but that's because it is I suppose ?
 
Oh heck, just remembered another. The big Thorne Lighting works up Melton Road. Used to get taken out there at Christmas to see the lights on the outside of the building.

I can feel a new thread coming on...
