Nice to see you're concerned about exploitation of the indiginous people and stripping of valuable resources in Africa. You don't seem to be so concerned about it happening for the past 200 years or so.

It's obviously a problem a d it's been highlighted so hopefully things will improve, they have experimented with ways to make it safer.

In the meantime, better not get a new phone or any device with a rechargeable battery or you might be considered a hypocrite.

I can’t do nothing about the past 200 years so I don’t whinge about it like you. But I can do something about it now like not buy an electric car when I can buy a diesel one.

But I completely agree with your point 👍. It's such a massive problem, globally, nationally and individually, affecting every aspect of life...with no easy or obvious solutions.

But as Adumas says, everyone is guilty of wanting more and more. But the points I’m making is
1. It’s only the hypocrites who want all these rules regulations and restrictions to make us “go green.”
2. There’s always a cost to it, costing out normal folk (or at least making it significantly more expensive for normal folk) while the costs, by default, will have very little impact on the wealthy.
There’s no investment in rail travel to move goods for example, private jets are on the increase yet I’m getting the blame for plastic in the sea, fuck me, we couldn’t get further from the sea here in the UK. I stuck my plastic bag in the wheelie bin, if it ends up in the sea, blame the fucking council. Don’t charge me 20p or whatever it is for a plastic bag.

2. This Govt have showed how (un)committed they are to actually doing anything about climate change. They could be doing much more so the average person doesn't pay the most but they won’t.
