For Fuchs sake.....

“The way I think about that is if you ever think you are safe at any stage of the season, with however many points you have as a cushion, you can run the risk of becoming complacent and doing things you didn't do before when you were in a good moment,” Fuchs told Sky Sports. “Maybe not going the extra mile, maybe trying to do fancy things rather than focusing on what is needed and keeping it simple"

I don’t think we’re being blasé , Enzo has been busted and needs to have a word with himself

Like I said previously we need to go back to what brought us success earlier in the season. Having complete control of the football, we have tried to go slightly more direct and we haven't had as much control as we did.

So what you're saying is, we have a team of footballers who can't pass more than 5 yards.

What brought us success earlier in the season was teams trying to get to grips with Enzo ball. Now he's been sussed other teams don't allow us the space and time to do what we did in the first round of matches, and Enzo hasn't got an immediate answer. Complete control of the football is only half the story. What you do with it to win matches or to keep clean sheets is another..

What has become apparent lately is that some of the better teams will not be 'controlled'.
Their workrate and pressing often successfully counters our close passing style.
And they are set up to counter rapidly when possession is lost and our back line has strayed too high.
As our 'keep the ball' reputation becomes less effective, only the poorer teams try to sit off us.
This is the 'messy' time of the season when teams have to adapt to absences with suspensions and injuries,
testing depth of squad and the ability of many of our players to adjust to more games than they are used to.
