F****t unsuccessful in appeal against four-point deduction

Take note of Clapham's comment. All very well laughing at Forest but you’ll all be upset should we get hit next season. Fuck what happpens to others it’s all about self preservation when it comes to football.

Forest have been hit with a 4 points and Everton 8 points.
Does anyone know if our finances are reportedly worse than the above because I have not idea?

Exactly. I'm finding it hard to comprehend how people can wish for a bad outcome for Forest without, apparently, understanding that a bad outcome for them increases the chances of a bad outcome for us.

It's Notts Forest!!!

They should have suffered a further points deduction for a vexatious appeal.

We'll fight our own corner once we know what the premier league has planned for us regarding a points deduction.

Just wait until they can't avoid the Man City situation any more and have to change the rules accordingly.

Then we we can hope for a minor earth quake which causes a tsunami on the Trent and washes their shit hole to Grimsby.

Fully understand all implications, but fuck 'em...bring it on...

The part of this related to us I am fascinated about is what mitigation relegation has, if any, on our punishment. Given the points penalty would have been applied for the current season if we had stayed up, surely relegation and £110m in lost TV revenue (plus the rest of the lost income) has some sort of bearing on things? Or is it a case that the PL gives us a deduction of x points and that would remain in force, even if we did not get promoted again for another five or ten years? Or would a delayed promotion mean that the EFL penalty would keep the PL happy?

This is the issue when the rules are being made up as you go along.

This is the issue too, when you change the process to fast track, to save face under the threat of outside governance - and completely forget that a relegated team might have missed a financial threshold...
Relegation was a punishment.
The EFL transfer embargo was an unfairly imposed punishment.
The EPL fast track doesn't apply to us...can't shift the goal posts, when we aren't even allowed on the pitch...
