Doubleheader in Philly

Went to see Fulham-Brentford and Villa-Newcastle at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia this afternoon. Both very good games. Youri T. was a second half sub for Villa and Harvey Barnes made his debut in the last 15 minutes for the Toon.

Decent crowd of around 40K. Happy to say I bumped into a bunch of Leicester fans amongst them.

Villa were two up in 10 minutes, and for the first half hour they were excellent. Brentford also looked decent, and did not deserve to lose.

Not sure, we just kept bumping into people in City shirts as we walked around, which I hadn’t really expected since we weren’t playing.

Also got a lot of sympathy from the other sets of fans about relegation and all that. Took the opportunity at every turn to unload on BFR, and assured both the Villa and Newcastle lot that they had picked up bargains.
