Considered buckin opinion

I had zero confidence in Vardy scoring that penalty, I seem to recall him missing some pressure ones over the years.
Five buckin defenders in the box and their one attacker gets a free buckin header
No clean sheet again
KDH had a very good cameo and Iheanacho was very poor and as for Perez the less said the buckin better
Lookman didn't get a look in even Youri was off form
Overall we didn't create a disturbance never mind a chance Soumare's strike aside
We bucked the job up against a poor side
Two things to note Kasper caught a corner and Amartey is rapidly becoming a cult hero, when Wes comes back Dan is not the centre half that should be dropped.
Am a very unimpressed GTIF

I made it 8 players in the box including KS.

Well I thought Pérez did ok. At least his movement was good, made himself available for the ball and got involved and made efforts to find gaps to feed others. Let down dreadfully by Bertrand who was awful and the statuesque Daka who showed no appetite to work across their deep set back line of 5.

If Tielemans plays well we play well, he was well off the pace last night, Iheanacho has been poor in his last few games, agree that Vardy shouldn’t have taken the penalty, shame that Barnes caught that bug as his 2nd half appearance against Arsenal was full of promise and he would have been the difference last night as we had no idea of how to break their defence down….
Onto ‘dirty’ Leeds we go and hopefully we get straight into them….

Im wondering because we ran out of steam last two seasons whether we are conserving energy for the second part of the season.

It was hopeless from start to finish.

Why did we go with 3 at the back against 1 lumbering forward? Perhaps it was a lack of personnel, but we were crying out for wide players to keep their back 5 pinned in and turned round facing their own goal.

What? deliberately not winning games to conserve energy?

What for? A relegation fight?

You really are king of the trolls Daz40 :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Bertrand was well out of position for their goal and never looked like closing the winger down.

Big Dan still can’t defend. Take a look at the ball swung in that they nearly scored from and he’s all over the place

Quite a few things not sitting right with me....buys 2 players from a mediocre Southampton...3 5 2 against a championship standard side...poor defending poor breaking down....comments in most interviews that set pieces aren't a problem....constantly sets up the wrong system....crap substitutions....lethargic slow mundane football.
The owners have invested heavily into this club...things need to change drastically

The amount of time wasted passing back and sideways from attacking positions was staggering .... Lookman seemed scared to take anyone on and beat them, passed back far too much ... reminded me of Under

I think that's because they are too scared to lose the ball and exposure our rubbish defence.

Today's i says we were 'pedestrian, soporific and cautious in a wasted first hour.' (Chief football writer)
Are we overcoached? It seems we are learning lines, trying to express a plan at the expense of any sort of free thinking,
Which can be fine but if the oppo has our number and cramps us up without any space in forward areas we still stick to the shape and are scared of any individual enterprise. And it comes down to the coach/manager who is too scared of losing.
Take the brakes off Brendan, trust to the obvious flair of a lot of our players like the tinker did. It might be risky but it will be more fun and we might actually get back to be an entertaining team which was admired by most of the football world.

& if an opposition who can concede 7 in a Russian league game barely a week or 2 ago know how to play us, then it doesn’t look great at all.

I'm just going on a post someone put on here a few weeks ago I think.
Yeah me I’ve said it a few times now on different threads.

if it is the plan then the more attacking and much better Leicester City needs to kick in soon, maybe as soon as after the international break.
