Considered buckin opinion

GTIF

Roofer
Another relatively easy win which was never in doubt
Admittedly there were periods of the game when we we were poor but it seems as if we play at a hgher level when we have to, that can be a bit risky, but the reality is we are too good for the division
Ten points clear what's not to like
Conceded a sloppy goal though and should have had at least two more
Onwards and buckin upwards although I suspect Stoke will be a test
As for the penalty it was one simple as that

this season can be described simply as 'a piece of piss', it feels easier than L1.
we're going up in one of the auto spots even if the moaners don't like it.

That was the poorest most boring performance I have ever witnessed. Pissing around at the back and running into trouble/ giving the ball away too often, missing sitters, conceding another late goal. Dakas penalty decision was a joke, he simply failed to shoot and fell into the keeper. Ok it was 3 points but negative in entertainment.

Isn't winning entertainment?

it was a penalty, but if he hadn't tried to stop Daka, Daka would have fell over his laces.

There's is no point playing this joke of a player except we are pissing the league and can afford to play with in effect 1o men to get him off our books. If Maresca can't see how shite he is then he shouldn't be in the game.

Daka makes iheanacho look like Lionel Messi.

Does anyone know exactly what the penalty was given for? Only thing I could think was tapping Daka's legs with his hand or was it something before that

About 100 years ago when Cheatski got "that" peno against Spencer Prior a proper ref said that there didn't have to be contact for it to be a penalty.
I assume the same geezer was reffing tonight.

Watching the highlights on YouTube they show a replay of the penalty incident, showing dakas run from half way line,
from a camera angle behind the goal, directly facing him.

For the entire run his eyes are only on the ball, doesn't look up at all, and somehow manages to lose his 5 yard head start over the defender by failing to run in a straight line.

contrast with kdh run for his goal and he barely looks at the ball at all, he's looking at where the goal is, where the keeper is, and where his teammates are.

daka is so frustrating. Lacks so many skills, but also has a skill set we miss from others. Namely his pressing and speed across the ground (without the ball).

As I have said before, I have enjoyed a lot of this season when I know a lot haven't but for the most part last night was not a good watch. Passing it around at the back I don't have a problem with as long as it isn't out of fear (see Rodgers) and it is done well enough (after Vestergaard's early dropped bollock, it was Pereira who looked most uncomfortable at the back) but when it so often flounders time and again as soon as the ball gets beyond the back line (and against poor opposition) negating the point of it then as entertainment goes, I have seen better to say the least. The most enjoyable aspect for me apart from the goals was probably some of Doyle's long range passing though, again, some of the control at the other end varied from the sublime to the ridiculous.

Maybe he should have been looking at it when breaking in the 2nd half. His "close" control when he managed to boot it fully 25 yards ahead of himself was something to behold.
Specially as he has developed a tendency to flap his arms like a bird when a teammate fucks up... hopefully he'll wind his neck in a touch after that 'special' moment.

Our manager was pleased with the teams performance last night, however he seems not too enamoured at times with our support. With the moaning and groaning at times, it is difficult for our fans especially knowing what this team is capable of and the seemingly lack of intensity shown by our players for long periods throughout games. He will say it works and we need to move on from previous ways of playing.

That's part of the problem I think. A lot of fans still think back to 2015/16.

I thought he was paying tribute to Lloyd Dyer.
Going back to the 2015/16 season
It reminds me of incident in the tunnel side A block. The previous 7 seasons me and the lad always sat in p stand there near the away fans good atmosphere and we all stood up at the back.Anyway we were forced to move when he turned 18 ,we had to relocate to A1 block .My god it's so clicky in there ,we were swearing trying to stand up but everybody did not like it.The final straw was the Arsenal 5 2 defeat we had to move to get away from a stand full of moaning fans ,even when we were playing good. Jim D arranged for us to be moved to SK1 and the rest is history .Enzo has no chance with a stand full of no singing moaning people!

Really? You can't have been a Leicester supporter very long then. Where were you in the 1980s? And it wasn't the goalkeeper Daka fell into, it was the defender.
