Changes to Football Governance

This week is expected to be significant as changes to football governance are part of the Kings Speech, in advance of this worth reading the following article from the Football Supporters Association

The Premier League is utterly corrupt and money driven. It doesn’t surprise me they would stoop to blackmailing the EFL and that surely underlines the need for an independent regulator. I fear, though, that the PL lobby will have their way eventually.

We don't need an independent regulator, we need one body that looks after all of football, for the good of all clubs and national team, not 3 bodies fighting each other all the time.

Bring it on. I can’t wait for football to have the same kind of world leading independent UK regulators as those who make sure that the BCCs of energy and water give us all a first class service, with no rip offs, or dodgy decisions, or preferential treatment for their mates.
